- The longest and the most famous railway journey in the world, the Trans-Siberian Railway traverses the whole expanse of Russia from Europe to the Orient. Few other journeys enable the passenger to relax so completely during their course, and to become lost in the rhythm of the journey as time zones and the urgency to arrive both become meaningless.

Our chefs use the finest of local ingredients for lunch and dinner. From traditional and world renowned 'Borsch' to cavier and Omul; fish unique to Lake Baikal. Quality wines from around the world compliment our meals, along with mineral water, soft drinks and naturally, Vodka.
Cabins
GW Travel are having a new 21 carriage train built which will enter service in 2007. The 12 new sleeping cars will be seperated into two classes; Gold and Silver. Cabins are excellently appointed and equipped with state of the art DVD/CD player, LCD screens, audio system, individual air conditioning, recessed lighting and wardrobe space.
